The desk is in good condition for its age and has been well looked after. It has a nice rich patina and the drawers open well.
It comes with a working key for the lower drawers. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy and the linings have been replaced on the lower drawers. There are some signs of historic worm in the bases of the top drawers but this has been treated as a precaution. The desk has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
