Description

A smart and very impressive antique Georgian mahogany leather top pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1800-1820 period.

It is of superb quality and is a great size. It sits on bracket feet and has lovely brass ring pull handles that appear to be original. The top has cross banded edges and a beautiful hand coloured inset leather top. The back of the desk is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in great condition for its age. There are various small bumps and marks beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age. The top lifts off this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
