Description

A French pedestal desk dating to around 1900, this has a beautiful brown leather top with tooled and gilt decoration, ornate escutcheons and bun feet. It has a lovely mahogany colour and polish, with panelled sides and backs to the pedestals so that it will sit well away from a wall. Whilst having the presence of a traditional pedestal desk, the size means that it will not overwhelm a smaller room while still providing plenty of desktop space.

Dating to circa 1900, this is made of mahogany and originates from France.

In good age related condition with minor wear. Although there is no key available for most of the locks, that at the top of the right pedestal has been refitted and a key is available for that. The leather top is in good order, without scuffs, stains or significant wear.
