Description

A magnificent and large antique walnut leather top partners desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1910-1920 period.

It is of superb quality with a gorgeous design, the slightly rounded top edge means this type of desk is sometimes referred to as a cushion top desk. It is a great size, with a fantastic inset tooled leather top. There are high quality brass handles, the drawers have fine, hand cut dovetailed joints and cross banded fronts. The back is beautifully finished and has two locking doors with additional storage space. This sits on slightly scrolled bracket feet with lovely carving on the edges.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
