Desk Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal

Description

Here we have a beautiful Victorian twin pedestal desk of great proportions. The desk is rich in colour and patina as you would expect. The desk is in excellent condition and has just been polished. The drawers are all Mahogany lined with solid Mahogany fronts. The drawers have handcut dovtailed joints with the makers scribe mark still visible. The leather skiver has the right amount of wear and again has great colour and patination. The desk retains its original brass handles and more importantly all eight original fluted brass and porcelain castors on exquisitely turned legs. The original solid Mahogany backboards are also in place. A fantastic desk which is not to large in great condition ready for your home. Dimensions are approx 48 inches wide 30.5 high 22 deep, knee hole 24 high by 18 wide.
