Description

An interesting and sensitive work by Leonard Hunting (b.1926) a British Modernist who spent much of his career in France. The gouache painting, dating from circa 1960, has lovely provenance. It came from his Paris dealers, the Galerie Peron at 5 rue Faubourg Saint Honoré.

In the UK, Hunting's work is in the collections of the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery and of Loughborough University.

Measuring 27 x 40 cm at sight and signed at the lower right, the overall framed size is 50 x 60 cm.
