Size: 1ft 7in x 11in (49 x 27cm).

Antique tribal chanteh (vanity bag) with plain weave back, by the Afshar Tribe.

Circa 1890.

A very good small tribal chanteh bag with original plain weave back. The face of the bag has a very interesting tribal design on it and the bag retains the original decorative tassels to three sides.

The bag is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile, there are no repairs.

The bag has been hand washed and is ready for display.
