French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Lavishly decorated with brass and inlaid with brass stringing, it has an exquisite floral inlay on the central modesty panel. There are fluted architectural columns either side of each pedestal, which sit on brass decorated bun feet. The locks all work and there are three keys available, one each for the drawers in the pedestals and a third for the top drawer range. The top drawer in the right pedestal has a sectional lift-out tray, beneath which is an internal lockable valuables compartment. Attractively panelled to all sides, this can be used in the centre of a room. This is part of a truly stunning set of furniture, which can be purchased separately or as the complete group of three pieces.

Dating to circa 1900, this is made of mahogany and brass, and originates from France.
In lovely age related condition, this has only minor faults, including the range of small dents you’d expect in the brass trimming, some minor rubbing to the leather on the pull out leaves, and tiny scuffs to the wood, but generally a beautiful piece.
