Description

Finished in lovely green classic Victorian king size iron and brass bed with individual extra rail detail. Little brass decorations good detail in decorative castings. The bed has been professionally restored with rails extended. The jigsaw corner joints have been checked for good fit and the whole frame has been shot blasted and primed prior to hand finish in tittle Green paint company Pomelian Ash green which has then been dark waxed to preserve. Antiqued brass knobs, collars and rails.

Foot height to top of knob 103cm

Side rail height 37.5cm

Overall width 154cm

Overall length 213cm

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height (2" base used in photograph). We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please see our web site or e mail for full specifications and prices.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.

If you can't see what you are looking for it may well be worth e-mailing to enquire as they have lots of beds awaiting restoration that have not been photographed yet.

We can arrange both national and international delivery. Please send post code for quotation.
