Description

A handsome pair of late 19th Cent cast iron fire dogs in the form of seated lions. They are beautifully modelled and have rubbed original black paint to the bodies and gilding to the bases.

If you wanted to use them as decorative ornaments the rear extensions could easily be removed.

The maximum dimensions are:

38cm (15") high

18cm (7") wide

9.5cm (3.75") deep without stand, 28cm (11") with stand
