Description

A French Finely carved walnut antique settee/canapé. With a finely carved shell cartouche and further fine floral carved detail to the back and arms. Having three shaped padded back rests and a generous sprung seat newly re-upholstered in a beige printed linen by Romo. The serpentine front seat rail also with finely carved floral detail and supported on shaped French cabriole supports French circa 1880

Dimensions: 48" wide x 35" high x 24" deep (seat height 17")

Condition: This settee/canapé is in stunning condition. The frame has been cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered in our workshops in a Romo printed linen.

NB. There are a pair of matching armchairs on our website.
