It is topped with an impressive central arched pediment with an attractive carved motif. This sits above three full length mirrored doors with moulded edges and ornate brass key escutcheons complete with key and two working locks. The piece is finished off with elegant cabriole legs to the front . The interior has a single adjustable shelf with later hanging rail and plenty of storage space within the base, ideal for shoes! This antique wardrobe may be large but is surprisingly easy to accommodate as it 'flat packs' so can be positioned in rooms that might not otherwise benefit from such an impressive piece of furniture. It has fabulous oak back boards, a sign of quality, and has aged to a lovely golden shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
