Brief Description:
The composition features an impressive sailing vessel with billowing white sails and a deep-blue hull, making its way through sweeping green seas beneath an expansive, cloud-filled sky.
Three further sailing ships appear on the distant horizon, while a tall lighthouse and coastal fortification provide an attractive focal point to the right.
The artist has used a lovely palette of sea greens, soft blues, muted greys and warm whites, creating a striking maritime scene full of movement and character.
The painting is housed within an attractive, substantial giltwood-effect moulded frame, featuring decorative corner embellishments and a contrasting pale inner border.
A highly decorative, generously proportioned maritime painting that would make a wonderful statement piece in a coastal residence, traditional interior or nautical-themed setting.
