Antique Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A charming and well proportioned antique mahogany bow front chest of drawers. The antique chest of drawers has an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each fitted with turned wooden knob handles. The drawers are set within a bow front, beneath a moulded top with decorative edging. Raised on turned bun feet. Beautiful figured mahogany grain and warm colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout, with signs of age. The drawers run smoothly and the chest remains structurally solid and sound. There is surface wear in places, including age-related marks, scratches, dents as pictured. There is some wear to the edges and finish consistent with age and use. The chest retains a lovely aged patina, with attractive figured mahogany grain throughout. Overall, a charming example.
