Antique Oak Cabriole Leg Dresser Base

Antique oak cabriole leg dresser base

This Antique oak dresser base was made circa 1800.

This elegant antique oak dresser base is a superb example of early craftsmanship, offering both aesthetic charm and functional appeal. Featuring three deep drawers with brass handles, the piece is enhanced by a beautifully figured cross-banded top, also to the drawers, adding a refined decorative touch to its rich patina.

Supported on gracefully shaped cabriole legs, the dresser base exudes timeless style and stability. Its clean lines and classic proportions make it a versatile addition to many settings — from a hallway console or drawing room sideboard to a kitchen server or bedroom storage piece.

This dresser base seamlessly blends into both traditional and eclectic interiors, offering character, practicality, and enduring appeal.

“There is scarcely anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little more cheaply. The person who buys on price alone is this man’s lawful prey.”
