Filed as sideboards, these are mostly low oak dresser bases: waist-height chests of drawers, sometimes with cupboards, built to serve and store in the farmhouse and country house kitchen.
The largest to pass through Sellingantiques are stated in feet and centimetres: a nine-foot enfilade, a seven-foot early 18th century base, a 250cm serving base.
