Pretty Antique Lilihan Carpet

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a very pretty antique Lilihan carpet, dating from around 1930.

The carpet has a lovely strawberry field of flowering plants around a medallion framed by spandrels with deep indigo borders of vines flanked by carnation guard stripes. In excellent clean condition, this is handwoven in beautifully soft wool.

The carpet measures 203cm by 154cm.
