French 3/4 Mahogany Bed with Brass Mounts

1900 - 1920
Description

Very decorative French 3/4 size large single bed in mahogany with sun burst veneers and brass mounts, circa 1900 and in good condition.

Wonderful colour to the contrasting mahogany, highlighted with the brass mounts.

The bed has its original matching side rails and bolts so the frame is very solid when built…the mattress size below is for a 3/4 size with the mini divan or slats and mattress placed on the side rails, but you might prefer to use a smaller divan and mattress and place them directly on the floor and have the frame around if that makes sense? Get in touch for more details!

Priced as the frame only,

Measurements:

Headboard is 56 inches or 142 cm high

Footboard is 31 1/2 inches for 80 cm high

Maximum frame width is 51 3/4 inches or 131.5 cm

We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
