Description

An antique Persiann Afsharr, handwoven rug, approximately 5' x 3'1", dating from the 2nd half of the C19th. This old rug has a red coloured field with all over design, with blue spandrels, enclosed by repeating borders. A hand knotted, rug with short medium pile, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

A well worn in old rug, full of charm and character, with numerous old repairs but still ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 153 cm long including fringes, and 93.5 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in well worn in condition with several repairs. Heavy wear to the fringes and pile. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
