This antique Heriz carpet North-West Persia has the benefit of being an excellent small carpet size which is rare to find. In addition, it is very pretty with spot on decorative colours and a very well balanced medallion and spandrels design. Note also the very attractive guard stripes which frame the main border.. The ends and sides are original and secured. The pile is generally good with only minor traces of wear commensurate with the age. No repairs or stains. This is a very genuine antique Heriz carpet which would enliven many decorative settings, both modern and traditional.
