An English Arts and Crafts copper water carrier . Beautifully decorated with a repousse design of a tree with branches blowing in the wind. Lightly hammered and with rivet decoration to the back. The bifurcated loop handle gently curves towards the nipped pouring rim. Unmarked. English c 1895
 
The Arts and Crafts Movement originated in Britain during the late 19th century and was characterized by a style of decoration reminiscent of medieval times.
