A fabulous antique Heriz carpet from the late 19th Century, an intricate medallion pattern with golden yellow scrolling vines in the red outer medallion. The four pale blue corners are a real delight, this early pale blue dye is one of our favourites to see on a Heriz. Heriz have always been regarded as tough, decorative rugs and this wonderful example is a prime example.
