Old Turkish Milas Rug of Small Medallion Design, Circa 1920/30.

Description

Size: 5ft 11in x 3ft 9in (180 x 114cm).

Old Turkish Milas rug of traditional village design with good soft colours.

Circa 1920/30.

The rug has five small diamond medallions on a warm red coloured ground, there are also a number of floral rosettes. The traditional borders containing large and small stars in pastel shades frame the rug well.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, the rug has a very soft floppy handle. The lower end retains the original kilim end finish.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
