Old Turkish Milas Prayer Rug of Traditional Design, Circa 1920/30.

Description

Size: 6ft 9in x 3ft 10in (206 x 117cm).

Old Turkish Milas rug of traditional prayer design and very good soft pastel colours.

Circa 1920/30.

The rug has three small diamond medallions on a rich burgundy coloured ground, there are also a number of floral rosettes. The traditional borders in pastel shades frame the rug well.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear with good pile, the rug has a very soft floppy handle. The lower end retains the original kilim end finish.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
