Size: 3ft 7in x 3ft 3in (108 x 98cm).

Antique Ersari Turkmen rug of excellent design and colour, the rug is of a very scarce small square size; the rug is of a rich red colour.

Circa 1920.

The rug has two large Ersari guls to the field and a classic narrow North Afghan border which frames a well drawn curl leaf design. The upper end has a short kilm whilst the lower end has a elem panel with rams horns.

The rug has very good soft wool and excellent colour.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
