Description

Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Triple Wardrobe in the manner of Chippendale and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a gadrooned edge to the cornice with wide cross banded edge above three full length panelled doors. The top panels having shaped beaded oval mouldings to the centre and with all the doors having cross banded edges and original brass handles. Internally and to one side there is a hanging rail above three sliding mahogany tray drawers over a single drawer. To the other end side it is all hanging with a single shelf to the top . It has a gadrooned plinth base and is raised on short cabriole legs on a claw and ball foot and joined by a shaped frieze .

A superb wardrobe that separates for ease of transporting.

MEASURES: 82” HIGH X 24.5” DEEP X 64” WIDE & INTERNAL DEPTH 20.5”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
