Description

This is a very attractive Heriz carpet with some interesting features. The background colour is a very unusual pale terracotta while all the secondary colours, the golds, pale blues and dark blues all have similar pale hues which gives the carpet a quiet harmony. The classic medallion and corner design is very well executed in a stylised geometric design, not over-crowded. The border also has a fluency and harmony to it. Finely worked and in good original condition. Only some minor signs of wear commensurate. Professionally cleaned.
