Antique Hamadan village rug with large floral design on a soft pink coloured ground.

Circa 1920.

The rug has a floral vase design that is also often found on rugs from the towns of Sarouk and Lilihan, this example is unusual for the pink and blue colour palette.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile, this is a very strong heavy rug.

The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for heavy domestic floor use.
