Antique Heriz Carpet of Small Room Size, Superb Colour, Circa 1900.

Description

Size: 9ft 10in x 7ft 1in (300 x 215cm).

Antique Heriz carpet of small room size with a very well-drawn large medallion and excellent colours.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has a large central medallion of traditional Heriz design, the ground colour is a superb soft madder red with the open floral spray design in pastel colours. The spandrels are in soft powder blue with yellow and pink. The well drawn indigo blue classic Heriz border frames the carpet well.

A superb designers carpet for that timeless country house look.

The Carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium / low pile, perfect for the country house look.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a living or dining room.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
