Description

An outstanding antique Heriz carpet, handwoven circa 1910. The design features a large geometrical medallion on a terracotta field and indigo border. The design is particularly elegant with perfectly balanced colours. Lovely secondary colours of pinks, greens and golds.

Size: 3.20m x 2.70m (10ft 6in x 8ft 10in)

This carpet is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
