Description

A lovely oil on canvas by Neretti, an artist who specialised in painting Venetian scenes at the beginning of the 20th Century. While we have no biographical information on the artist, his oeuvre is well known and his paintings can be seen in galleries and at auction. Our view of Venice is an oil on canvas measuring 40 x 30cm and is signed at the lower left. Light craquelure is visible. The overall size in a natural wood frame which is slightly ample for the painting is 53 x 41.5 cm.
