Antique Qashqai Saddle Bag Face, Shiraz Region, Circa 1920.

Description

Size: 2ft 1in x 2ft 0in (64 x 60cm).

Antique Khorjin (saddle bag) face by the Qashqai tribe, with traditional medallion design.

Circa 1920.

The bag face has wonderful clear colour and retains the brocaded closing panels at the top and some kilim at the lower end.

The bag face is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
