Description

This characterful ENGLISH POTTERY TOBY JUG dates from circa 1830.

Probably made in the North of England, this seated Toby is holding a Jug and Cup and has attractive spongeware decoration to the inside of his hat and to the base. The handle is designed as a caryatid.

In good condition with no restoration.

Height: 10 inches (25.5 cm)
