Antique Shahsavan saddle bag face in soumak technique.

Mid 19th century.

An outstanding soumak bag face in a classic Shahsavan double headed bird design, superb natural dyes throughout with very fine soumak technique.

The bag face is in outstanding original condition with very slight wear and one small repair in the border lower left of center.

The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display. An outstanding and collectable example.
