Antique Shahsavan saddle bag face in soumak technique.

Circa 1880.

An outstanding soumak bag face in a classic Shahsavan design, superb natural dyes throughout.

The bag face is in outstanding original condition with very slight wear and no repairs. The top end retains the original closing lappets and there is a short kilim at the lower end.

The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display. An outstanding and collectable example.
