Description

Frank Moss Bennett (1874-1952) was a painter in oils and watercolours, and also a designer of costume figures. He was born in Liverpool and studied at Clifton College, then Slade School of Fine Art, St John’s Wood Art School and Royal Academy Schools where he won a gold medal and travelling scholarship. He showed at Dudley Gallery, RA, RI and Paris Salon and lived in London.

"The Old Cart Shed" is an oil painting on board measuring 10"x 14". It is framed giving an overall size of 15"x 20". The painting is unsigned but has an old stamp on the back showing it was from the artist's studio sale.
