Persian Mashad, handwoven rug, approximately 6'4" x 4'4", dating from the early mid C20th. This quality rug has a raspberry field of vines around a central medallion, framed by spandrels and carnation borders. An old hand knotted rug with, short fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.

A good quality rug, full of charm and character, and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This rug measures approximately 192 cm long including fringes, and 131 cm wide.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This rug is in reasonable condition, commensurate with its age. Some wear to pile, little wear to the fringes. A reasonably regular shape for a handwoven rug. Nice and clean and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
