Rugs and carpets have been woven in the small central Persian town Fereghan for centuries, building a reputation for quality and finesse. This lovely piece is no exception. What a beauty! From the colour choices to the dynamic design, this lovely old Fereghan carpet exudes class and sophistication. Note the wonderful powder blue. The brown has corroded perfectly creating a three-dimensional effect, especially in the borders. Cleaned and professionally restored including a reduction in the width .
