Good Antique Saroukh Carpet

Description

This is a beautiful, good quality Saroukh carpet with a lovely deep, soft pile dating from around 1900. Hand woven in soft lustrous wool, the carpet is finely drawn and has a pleasing design with a central medallion in a deep coral field surrounded by flowers and foliage. The warm coral field is complimented by shades of light blue, indigo and a pistachio green to the borders. A very pretty carpet, this is in excellent clean condition. It measures 190 cms by 122 cms

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
