A beautiful example of an antique Art Deco carpet, hand woven in Tianjin, north-east China, circa 1920s with a simple design of floral sprays and birds on a raspberry red field and mushroom beige border.
Size: 3.46m x 2.72m (11ft 4in x 8ft 11in)
This carpet is in original condition with good pile. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned. A couple of small repairs (see photos).
