Afghan Baluch, semi-antique, handwoven prayer rug, approximately 5''9.5'' x 3'', Circa 1930. This rug with field of columns of barber poles with central narrow mihrab, enclosed by multiple repeating narrow borders. A hand knotted, rug with soft flexible pile, long fringes and selvages to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.

This rug measures approximately 176 cm including fringes, and 92 cm wide.
