Description

Here's an unusual and richly enamelled Cloisonne Egg, presented on its original wooden stand, dating from the early 20th Century, or late Quing Dynasty.

With hues of delicate pinks, blues and greens set against a gold background the egg is decorated in swirls of foliage, tendrils and flowers.

The egg sits on a bespoke carved wooden stand mounted with a metal spike, which fits into the base of the egg to secure it.

The Egg stands 20cm tall on its base, and 18cm out of it, with the wooden base measuring 4cm. It it 11cm cm across at its widest point.

It could be the perfect Easter present!

The egg is in a lovely condition with just the gentle surface wear commensurate with its age.
