A fabulous antique Bakhtiar carpet, hand woven in west Persia circa 1900 with a traditional Persian garden design. Fabulous secondary colours including blues, pinks and golds and a highly decorative piece. Note how some of the trees straddle 2 panels.
Size: 4.10m x 3.15m (13ft 6in x 10ft 4in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
