Antique Mahal carpet of large size, with all over mina khani (many flowers) design.

Circa 1900

This outstanding large size Mahal carpet has an all over floral design on a soft red ground. The carpet is framed with a bold border on a dark indigo blue ground.

The carpet is beautifully drawn with wonderful colour throughout, this is an outstanding country house carpet.

Excellent condition with slight wear and good pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use.
