Antique Isfahan rug with a very traditional floral medallion design.

Circa 1920.

The rug has a small central medallion surrounded by floral sprays. The border has a dark indigo blue ground and has a traditional design. This rug was probably woven in one of the many small villages surrounding the city of Isfahan.

The rug has an overall soft colour palate.

This rug is one of an identical pair, these are available as individual rugs or as a pair.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
