Antique Anatolian Kirsehir village prayer rug of small size and excellent design.

Size: 5ft 2in x 3ft 3in (158 x 100cm).

Circa 1880.

An interesting village prayer rug with a traditional design found in a small group of villages. The rug is very well drawn and uses a wide range of colours including soft blues, greens and yellows. The rug is framed by a floral border with carnations.

The rug is in very good condition with even wear and medium pile.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
