Antique Ziegler rug with all over ‘shrub’ design on a powder blue field.

Circa 1890.

The rug has a light indigo blue field with a flowering shrub design soft yellows, browns, madder red, terracotta and ivory giving it a light feel. The border in warm red tones frames the rug well. The rug has excellent soft wool.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile. This is a good furnishing rug with excellent colour.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
