This fine Persian silk Keshan rug from the 1930s exudes luxury and sophistication. The materials are of high grade and the weave is fine, giving it a sensual tactile quality. The range of colours are exquisite, and shimmer under light. The medallion design is well-balanced and restrained, making it very easy on the eye. One can imagine it hanging on a wall or in an elegant drawing room or bedroom. Cherished through the generations, it has survived in truly excellent condition.
