Antique piled mafrash panel from the Heriz region, a good panel with large scale floral design.

Circa 1900.

This panel is probably the side panel from a bedding or storage bag. Piled storage bag faces from the villages around Heriz are relatively scarce; this is a pleasing example.

The panel is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile, the panel retains a short kilim strip at the top end.

The panel has been hand washed and is ready for display.
