It's nice to find a small Heriz carpet with such a lovely colour range and well-spaced design. Fine wool quality and natural dyes, The medallion is expertly drawn, while the spandrels intriguingly reflect the medallion design. The sapphire blue border has a lovely repeat palmette design, and complements the field perfectly. The ends and sisides are all intact while there are very few signs of repair. Lovely thin floppy pile which gives the carpet the elusive lived-in look. Ideal for either traditional or contemporary settings. Professionally cleaned.
